PARTICLE RAIN : MediaPipe Interactive
This project investigates TouchDesigner's MediaPipe framework as a tool for accessible, real-world interactive experiences. Drawing from kinetic art principles, the work manifests as a large-scale installation designed for architectural integration—museum walls, corporate atriums, and public spaces where human movement shapes ambient environment.
The piece presents a generative rainfall system: cascading particle fields respond to gestural input through connected devices, where individual finger movements modulate turbulence patterns and directional flow. This creates a dialogue between body and digital matter, transforming passive viewership into embodied spatial participation.
